Our worker-owned, cooperative design-build company focuses on building beautiful, ecologically sound, healthy, durable homes. We are looking for intelligent, creative, and hardworking individuals to join our crew.
Our ideal candidates are interested in full-time, long-term employment and already have carpentry experience but we also take on one or two apprentices each year who are considering carpentry as a career.
Our team is active in all parts of the construction phase. Work may include: framing, exterior and interior finishes, and even digging ditches from time to time. Additionally, we take on select remodels and renovation jobs, as well as timber-frames and custom furniture jobs. We have a tobacco-free and respectful work environment.
Compensation is hourly and typically ranges from $17-$30/hr, based on experience and toolkit. Benefits include paid holidays and vacation, health, tool and mileage reimbursements, profit-sharing, bonuses, workers’ compensation, life insurance, and short and long-term disability insurance.
